FAQ - Duration of Summer Student Programme

How long is the stay at DESY during the Summer Student Programme?

The Summer Student Programme starts mid July and lasts 7 weeks.
Can I stay for a shorter period of time?

We expect the Summer Student to stay for the whole period of time. The supervisors organize the Summer Student Projects such that they match the duration of 7 weeks. However, for strong reasons there might be exceptions.
Can I stay longer?

If you realize during your stay that you would like to continue working at DESY, contact your supervisor or the group leader.
